Bev's Story - Hauraki Gulf

It was an old injury for Bev, having lived on a lifestyle block, sadly fallen from her horse and onto her hip. But it was a beautiful day fishing out on the gulf and a simple pivot while seated on a chilly bin (handing her sister-in-law a towel) when the active retiree dislocated it. Bev was in a lot of pain. Her family called for help. A regular donor of the Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter, Bev experienced first-hand what her support meant when she was high-line winched to safety thanks to the teamwork of crew including two Critical Care Paramedics.
