On Thursday 20th February crew of the Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter were tasked to Te Kuiti to assist a patient involved in a motor vehicle accident. Our Critical Care Paramedic and onboard Doctor attended to the patient in the road ambulance who was later transported to hospital by the same in a moderate condition for further medical care. Transportation to hospital by helicopter was not required and our crew returned to base.
